Dream Vacation

This project will include online research, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  Please be specific.  The more time you spend on your research, the easier the assignment will be.

Pivot Project

This project introduces you to computer animation and story telling.  We will be using the Pivot Stick Figure Animator.   If you are at school Pivot can be found on BShare-> student-> Wesner->Pivot.  If you are at home and would like to download it, you can find it here http://www.snapfiles.com/get/stickfigure.html . 

Project Guidelines.

1. Tell a story
2. Use a background
3. No violence
4. Create a minimum of 3 Pivots
5. One Pivot must be over 100 slides
6. Create a custom Character

I already  know everybody is going to be on their best behavior for the guest teacher.

6th and 7th grade will be doing an April Scavenger Hunt. April not only has a fools day, but it has showers that bring May flowers and Earth Day.  To learn More, click here and answer on a Word document.

8th grade-Please follow these instructions

1. You will need to explore articles about the future of technology using the Internet.  10 total articles
2. read the article
3. Write a summary of what you read in a Word Document DO NOT COPY AND PASTE!
4. Copy and paste the web address in your document

Find one article at a time. When you search the Internet, try to remember some of the questions I asked you yesterday about the future of computers, home, car, cell phone, networking, CPU, hard drive.
