Parent Welcome Letter

Welcome to West Middle School Computers class! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to work with you and your child, and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year. I have set up a website for the class this semester. it is wesner.edublogs.org. Once there you will be able to see what assignments your student is currently working on, as well as classroom policies, announcements and recommended websites. Any feedback on the website would be most welcomed.
Course Descriptions:
6th Grade: Computer Essentials
Keyboarding and an introduction to computer hardware and software
7th Grade: Computer Applications
MS Office Suite, Internet research, online learning experience
8th Grade: Computer Systems & Web Design
MS Office Suite, advanced computer networking and hardware, computer ethics/safety, animation and web design.
